Description
Original AFRTS Station Library transcription LP RL‑14‑5 featuring Mike Oldfield’s Hergest Ridge (edited into segments for broadcast) on Side 1, paired with selections from Harry Chapin’s Verities & Balderdash on Side 2. Produced exclusively for U.S. military broadcast use and never sold commercially, these discs were pressed in limited quantities and distributed to bases worldwide. This edition blends progressive instrumental rock with 1970s folk‑rock storytelling.

VG+ record / VG+ sleeve. Vinyl shows very strong gloss with only light superficial marks, faint dot scuffs, and a few small rubs that appear gloss‑deep. Playback on a basic test deck reveals faint, consistent surface noise and a very light static‑like texture on both sides, highly likely to disappear on higher‑quality equipment. No pops, no rotational defects, and no tracking issues were detected. Labels show minor spindle wear, light staining, and a subtle beige tint that appears manufacturing‑related. Sleeve is VG+ with minimal fading, no tears, and only light ring wear. Playback may vary depending on equipment; sold as‑is.
