Description
This is the very first release of the soundtrack Jimmy Page created for Kenneth Anger’s film Lucifer Rising. The backstory for this recording is legendary, nearly unbelievable!
It has no printing, but the etchings are DO WHAT THOU WILT SHALL BE THE WHOLE OF THE LAW” and “616 THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST” and “HAPPY A-1”
I bought this album in the early 1980’s in the import section of a tiny record store merely because “Jimmy Page” was handwritten on the wrapper over the picture of Aleister Crowley. I played it once then put it away as a piece of history. The vinyl is beautiful, the cover shows only a tiny bit of age and the same plastic cover still protects it.
