We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Right from the start - you know you're in for something a bit different with 'Tarot'...
Walter Wegmüller has been described by more than one source as a "Swiss gypsy", yet it was the same gypsy vagabond instinct that made the album a bona-fide cross-section of counterculture Germany in the early 1970s, cutting a mile-wide swath across one of the most fertile musical landscapes in modern history. the album finally realized all of producer Rolf Ulrich Kaiser's 'kosmische' fever dreams. Over its four sides of vinyl it manages to blend the fuzzy mysticism of "Lord Krishna von Goloka" and the psy-fi rock 'n' roll space travels of "Seven Up" into a holistic vision, performed by an all-star cast of Krautrock superstars bringing some of their best stuff to the sessions. If you were wondering what an embryonic space guru like KLAUS SCHULZE might sound like playing lead synthesizers in a rock band, here's your answer: Basically this is one of a short series of highly sought "Cosmic Couriers" albums, as the album is credited to the Swiss artist Walter Wegmuller.
This lengthy double concept album about "Tarot" magic and is one of the most expensive albums of the type in its full original form: indeed the double vinyl came out with silver foil and purple borders box, including a full deck of cards drawn by Wegmuller himself in association with Sergius Golowin, another driving spike in the Cosmic Couriers adventures. While Wegmuller takes on vocal duties (more often reciting duties really), the music is really up to the all star line-up on the album, recorded in the well known Dieter Dierks studios and released on the legendary "Ohr" label. The music is just as suitably spacey as you could ever wish for
TAROT is the ultimate classic acid trip Krautrock album in the vein of early Ash Ra Temple, the most tripped out moments of Can (think "Aumgn" from "Tago Mago") and Amon Düül II' "Yeti" & "Lemmings". This album features 22 tracks with each representing the individual tarot cards such as "The Fool." "The Magician" and so forth. The album encompasses spaced-out progressive electronic sounds, free flowing gentle acid washes, lush folk passages and of course searing psychedelic guitar overloads. While many super group projects suffer from the watering down affect of too much of a good thing, TAROT is a brilliant display of top notch musicians putting their egos aside for the sake of a greater project.
One could think of this as the perfect marriage of Ash Ra Tempel's guitar-drenched heavy psych with Schulze's extraterrestrial electronic journeys, Wallenstein's tendencies for heavier riffs based rock and Westripp's cosmic folk. The album is well paced and despite a whopping 85 minutes of playtime, still maintains the perfect romp on the lysergic express of the early 1970s. TAROT is also notable for being one of the minority of Kraut albums that spilled over the border, in this case the German speaking regions of Switzerland.
