1973 NOVA Performing Arts (Broward County) Dbl LP Soundtrack (Funny Girl)
“Funny Girl” (Nova Performing Arts). Double LP from November, 1973 of production by Nova Performing Arts, co-directed by Joyce Hall and Allen Hill. Mrs. Hall, a 40-year resident of Fort Lauderdale, joined with Nova High music teacher Allen Hill to create a joint music-English-drama program there in the 1960s. The Broward School Board later moved it to Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale as a magnet program. They put on plays such as Funny Girl and The Fantasticks, gaining a reputation for toughness and for pushing the teens to excel. Records and cover (shrinkwrap) are in strong VG+ to M- condition.
