Description
This is a Rare Vintage 1972 Boxed LP Record Set Compilation of Rock / Psychedelic bands titled “Fillmore / The Last Days”, plus Bonus inserts. The venue was under the direction of Bill Graham as Filmore West, and was a San Francisco hot spot for the Hip / Hippie crowd. These were the last bands that played at the Fillmore, before it closed up. The 33 1/3 – 3 record set is Fillmore / CBS Records No. Z3X-31390, and includes 19 tracks, by groups such as; The Grateful Dead; Santana; Hot Tuna; New Riders of the Purple Sage; Taj Mahal; Tower of Power; Elvin Bishop Group; Sons of Champlin; & more. The BONUS items include; 32-page descriptive booklet; reproduced 22” x 27 ¾” folded Concert Poster for the last concert w/ the Grateful Dead & others; reproduced Ticket for Eric Burdon & the Animals (2 ½” x 4 ½”); & 7” record with Bill Graham interview (Filmore / CBS No. AS7-1049 / includes its original sleeve). The cover is in Very Good + condition, with just some light rub wear on the front & back, and a split in one edge corner of the lid. The Records are in Very Good + Condition, and while much of the records are spotless & in excellent condition, a few sides of the records do have a few small spots on them that I think could be cleaned off. The BONUS contents of the set are all in Excellent condition, It does not appear as if the 7” record was ever played, nor the poster even unfolded except for these pictures.
