NEAR MINT play tested PROMO 1st pressing album by Country Joe And The Fish titled "The Life And Times Of Country Joe And The Fish From Haight-Ashbury To Woodstock". Includes postcard. 1971 Vanguard – VSD 27/28. This album traces the history of Country Joe and the Fish, from their Berkeley beginnings in 1965 through their emergence as one of the great rock bands of the later 1960's and their explosion onto the national scene culminating (and ending) in the Woodstock Festival. Included are the greatest of their recorded performances, selected from their Vanguard Recordings. But more than half of the performances - including the early performance of I Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-To-Die Rag and the band's live appearance at Fillmore East, Fillmore West, and Woodstock - have never previously been released.
