We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. - Original 1971 Rare and seldom seen 2nd and best of two Lp's released noted for their fantastic 8 minute title track (Beasts and Fiends) easily worth the score of the rarity because though the record is varied, prog, blues, psych and rock. There is far enough for collection worthy purposes overall and the fact that this dark cover is sooo clean, it absolutely demands attention in that this copy's cover is without the ring wear and such that will almost be guaranteed IF you should ever be lucky enough to locate another copy, plus INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL INNER PRINTED LYRICS SLEEVE

- Charisma were a band from the Hartford, Connecticut area, and were very typical of the confused American year of 1970 -- basically meaning that bands were throwing any and everything against the wall hoping it would stick - or in practical terms - obtaining radio airplay. And Charisma falls in line with their mix of blues, hard rock, progressive, psych, and old fashioned rock and roll. It's very varied basically. But some of these albums had gems in the midst of the ordinary, and that's where we come in. Charisma has a strong Hammond organ and overall keyboard presence, and there are a couple of tracks that display this in an instrumental progressive rock format ('Street Theatre', 'Ritual Dance of the Reptiles'). There are other very good proto-prog/bluesy numbers in 'Leopold's Ghost' and 'The Age of Reptiles'. The rest is take it or leave it...
... And then there is the title track. Believe me folks, it is worth the price of the LP just for this piece of mesmerizing insanity. Sounding like a most incongruous meeting between Comus, Uriah Heep, Stark Reality, Captain Beefheart's Magic Band (1968 era!) and Funkadelic - a bizarre kindergarten story made for the Public Broadcasting Service on LSD. Whoa. Wasn't ready for that. Amazing.
