NOTE: eBay has implemented its new FEEDBACK policy to which ANY customer for ANY reason or ANY excuse can give sellers (i.e. "us") negative feedback. Please understand, we have served thousands of "satisfied" customers and processed thousands of orders - far more than our feedback records indicate - It is our intention to give EACH and EVERY buyer our best possible service and we are known to ALWAYS deliver your purchased item. ALL items paid for are processsed 'outbound'  to each and EVERY customer, satisfaction guaranteed.  Keep in mind we have serviced THOUSANDS of satisfied customers and our aim is to continue to do so.

We make every effort to mail all orders out Friday of each week.  Keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two at most.   We also strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable.

TO OUR REPEAT CUSTOMERSWe often get requests to hold orders to save on shipping.  We are happy to do thatPlease pay your current invoice within five days of auctions ending and IF YOU REQUEST we will hold your order and reflect a shipping discount for each additional order shipped together in the same parcel.   To receive continual shipping discounts, we will hold your orders as long as you want, but it is necessary to pay each invoice you receive to stay current.   Most importantly, we appreciate your business.

                  THE WHO

               LIVE AT LEEDS

...USA - Decca Records DL 79175- stereo

CLEAN 1970 COMPLETE MINTY VINYL release of the legendary LIVE AT LEEDS  ...This issue is complete, containing 12 inserts, the cool poster and group photo, etc etc.  Hard to find with ALL the big & little stuffs enclosed tucked neatly inside the specially designed gatefold cover.

This copy has the first edition (very rare!) "SUMMERTIME BLUES" sticker that was originally on the outside of the outer wrapper of 1970 first pressings only ...since most folks tore off the outer wraper, and there went the Summertime Blues sticker, so it's very rare and here on the front cover looking GREAT!

Few bands ever moved a mountain of sound around with this much dexterity and power. If you ever wondered what made these guys a big deal, here's where to find out...

Rcorded live at Leeds University, Leeds, England on February 14, 1970.

The thing is, Townshend and company were at the blinding height of their powers in 1970, and LIVE AT LEEDS makes a far stronger case for the Who as the World's Greatest Rock & Roll Band than the Rolling Stones' contemporaneous live document, GET YER YA-YA'S OUT.

Not quite so much a band as three powerhouse musicians playing solos simultaneously, while Roger Daltrey screams to make himself heard over the din, the Who never lapsed into aimless jamming for its own sake. Even on the 14-minute-plus encore of "My Generation," drummer Keith Moon and bassist John Entwistle hold down the song's pile-driving groove nonstop. The vast majority of live rock albums are either pointless or awful; LIVE AT LEEDS is the exception in every way.  Here, they sound vicious -- as heavy as Led Zeppelin but twice as volatile as they careened through early classics with the confidence of a band that finally achieved acclaim but had yet to become preoccupied with making art. There is no better record of how this band was a volcano of violence on-stage, how they teetered on the edge of chaos but never blew apart. This is most true on this original LP, which is a trim six tracks, three of them covers ("Young Man Blues," "Summertime Blues," "Shakin' All Over") and three originals from the mid-'60s ("Substitute," "My Generation," "Magic Bus"), none of them bearing a trace of its mod roots. This pure distilled power!

Young Man Blues

Substitute

Summertimew Blues

Shakin' All Over

B:

My Generation (14:27)

Magic Bus (7:30)

CONDITION: The cover is "M-" very hard to find THIS CLEAN when the material attracts soil and dirt so easy ...and has the rare "Summertime Blues" sticker ...the cover is sharp, clean and solid everywhere
