*** 1970 Northern Soul / Funk ***
Original 1970 Dutch press (sadly without a pic-sleeve). But hard-to-find non the less!
Great Funky Soul debut by American born Billy Jones, who In late '68 he settled in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He soon became vocalist for the Dutch-Surinam band "Oscar Harris And The Twinkle Stars". The backing band on these fine sides are the Twinkle Starts, they are just named "The Stars" on this record.
artist: Billy Jones & The Stars titles: All My Brothers Are Clean / My Baby's Gone label: Catfish ?– 5C 006-24119 M year: 1970 condition: (grading is from 1 to 10 with 10 being new) visually: 6 out of 10 (a few very light scratches and scuffs - and some playwear wear - decent copy) plays: 6 out of 10 (nice strong player - some background crackle mostly noticeable on ballad side) Comes is a company sleeve (spine is open on one side) of the folks who pressed this record. Not sure if it was also sold like this, since it's the way this was found.
