Description
The Original 9 track 1970 Album* on Matrix Records (Catalogue No. Trix 1SP) by the British psychedelic band, whose only album was claimed to be the world's first 3D picture disc. The album was produced by Yardbirds singer Keith Relf, engineered by Phill Brown and includes ex members of the band Horse. The band members were, Jimmy Page lookalike, Adrian Hawkins and Aletta (vocals), Rod Roach who had also played with Andromeda)(guitar), Richard Houghton (bass guitar) and Tom Crompton (drums).
This is the definitive version of Magical Love which includes a 28 page booklet about cosmology (written by Richard A. Gardner and Tammo de Jongh) and includes a Concert ticket Voucher for the “Magical Love” Concert at The Rainbow on April 8 (Year not stated)
The Booklet and Voucher are in perfect condition
Record Condition :-
Owned from new and still in its original clear inner sleeve and Perspex outer sleeve. Both sleeves do have a small split on one edge. The disc itself has been played once and has today been carefully removed from the sleeve for the first time in many years so I could take the pictures you see here. The vinyl looks perfect but my recollection is that the sound was quite crackly. I assume because of the nature of the vinyl pressing. This version also has the original 3D label on both sides.
* There is some confusion about the precise year of release of this record and my memory is not good enough to recall it precisely, but this record definitely is the original version.
