 ***STILL SEALED*** (never opened) with the rare song titles sticker on outer shrink wrapper ...this sticker is very rare since most folks tore off the outer wrapper and there went the sticker...

Mood music for those who are feeling both deeply laid back and vaguely pissed off.  "Copper Kettle" is improbably one of the most beautiful things Dylan ever recorded. This willfully eccentric album is among the most misunderstood in Dylan's catalog. It's surely the oddest recorded moment in a career far from devoid of left turns.  Some of the tunes pick up where NASHVILLE SKYLINE left off, with Dylan crooning over rural-ish backup. Elsewhere, he tackles an unusual group of tunes, including  "Early Morning Rain," "The Boxer" and the classic "Take A Message To Mary." Over the four sides DYLAN takes a relaxed, homespun approach on the traditional murder ballad "Little Sadie." He offers us a glimpse of Bob the bluesman on "Woogie Boogie" and the Elmore James chestnut "It Hurts Me Too." He even covers himself, with a new version of "Like A Rolling Stone." The eclectic outside material and the lack of any anthems for the Woodstock generation to hang their preconceptions on led many to dismiss this album as perversely slight. If you buy into that party line, you'll never know what you're missing -- which is another musical explosion for Dylan, a breaking out from the constraints of his past work....Dylan has adapted a new sound, and with it has explored relationships and emotions that are no longer elemental, but which approach the complexity of life...

CONDITION: A perfect square, flat grainy thick gatefold cover ...original issue  STILL FACTORY SEALED ...with the rare song titles sticker on outer cellophane wrapper (wrinkled a little but intact) ...never opened in 40 years! =  very collectible ! No split seams, no bends, no problems, it's a perfect copy!

A mighty thanks to Craig Moore, he of THE GONN, for the the 'eads up on this listing ...slipped past the quality control, and while definitely an oh-so-rare 1970 Dylan first pressing, but is a 1970 Canada "360 Sound" Columbia pressing, and very well may have never been issued on the 360 Sound label in the U.S. ...anyway, rare as they come as the 1970 original it is...and...here today, GONN tomorrow...
