We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

DUTCH Original 1969 first pressing on the old 'Medium" Polydor records label...this laminated gatefold cover is laminated richly on the entire outside and inside of the cover ...One of the very best by the storied Golden Earring band who started out in the early 60's and are one of the longest running bands who still perform and release albums ... WALL OF DOLLS is a fresh sound from the underground centered on striking prog & psych hardrock mixes through both sides...
The roots of their music are basically hardrock, psychedelic, pop with some flavor of prog, using blues style in some of the compositions. Like in 'Yellow And Blue', the acoustic guitar at intro part layered by ambient fluttering flute work confirms their standing in psychedelic with bluesy style. It's a killing track and it's great being put as the album opener. As the music moves, it changes into energetic style maintaining good melody through the vocal line. The harmonies created through vocal and flute are excellent. It might reminds you to the early music of Jethro Tull, actually.
'The Loner' relies in itself with the soft guitar riffs that bring the music into medium tempo composition with good melody. You can see the bass guitar playing is quite attractive throughout the song combined with catchy guitar riffs. The guitar solo is also stunning. 'This Is The Time Of The Year' brings the music into break with vocal line performance followed later with guitar riffs that bring the music flowing in an attractive way.
The opening part of 'Big Tree Blue Sea' would definitely remind you to the kind of Focus / Jethro Tull music. This track has various complex styles as it moves from one segment to another -- a progressive rock music structure. You might really categorize this as a prog song. The guitar solo and interlude at 'The Wall Of Dolls' is really stunning, in a moody & highly infectious tune of the best kind. 'Back Home' is like a 60's The Rolling Stones tune with flutework. The other excellent track is 'As Long As The Wind Blows' with its terrific melody that latches on your mind.

CONDITION: The beautifully laminated gatefold cover stiff "EX" (excellent). No problems, strong seams, keeper looks.
The vinyl is all glossy both sides...little faint hairlines make visual VG+, however, plays strongly excellent from here to there and all around, completely covering both sides...
