A now seldom seen, noteworthy US white label promotional pressing of Black Sabbath 1970 self-titled LP Black Sabbath - being an extremely rare Warner Brothers LP (not gatefold) which was pressed in very small numbers and distributed to US radio stations ahead of the release of Black Sabbath's debut LP in the US. Still with the DJ timings label. 
Ozzy Osbourne is credited by his real name John Osbourne on both labels.

BIOGRAPHY
Its easy to forget that this LP was released in the UK before Bowie's Mercury UK release of The Man Who Sold The World.
Following the album's initial release on the Vertigo label in the UK, Black Sabbath secured their US record deal when manager Andrew Miller found a buyer for their debut album with Warner Brothers Records in 1970.
However, Black Sabbath received generally negative reviews from music critics on its release, though it became an immediate commercial success both sides of the pond, reaching number eight on the UK Albums Charts and number 23 on the US Billboard LP Chart where it remained for more than a year and sold one million copies.
This Black Sabbath LP has retrospectively garnered reappraisal as one of the greatest and most influential heavy metal albums of all time.

CREDITS
On both labels credit is given to Ozzy Osbourne as John Osbourne, his birth name, along with Tony Iommi, Terence Butler, William Ward.
Labels list each track separately, but show combined timings for A3/A4, A5/A6, and B2/B3.

CONDITION
Vinyl rates VG+ and remains visually strong, lustrous with minimal signs of previous playing. 
This LP has not been touched by cleaning apparatus. 
Both Warner Bros white labels without graffiti or handwriting. 
Minor spindle marks under strong light. Small office label on Side 1.
The sleeve is breathtaking, likely in a near mint / mint minus condition, no ring wear, very minor rubbing on the open flap side, and the original Warner spine title credit intact. Nevertheless one corner of the sleeve is lightly bumped and the DJ label is lightly foxed here and there with two small handwritten notes, so I have rated the sleeve as VG+.

Original PRINTED IN USA Warner record bag is still with the LP, it has minor discoloration and very light glue curing down the glued edges, please refer to photographs. 
The vinyl LP is stored separately in a Japanese anti-static sleeve.
