Description
This album is extremely scarce. This is Led Zeppelin's 1st offering, Led Zeppelin 1, in 1969, from a 1968 recording and only released in the UK. It is the very 1st pressing of this album that introduced Led Zeppelin to the world.
Within 2 weeks of the release of this version, all were pulled to make way for the release of the 2nd pressing and new version, with orange lettering. This is one of the few turquoise covered albums available, and the serial #'s are 588171, with no changes or adjustments to to those #'s on this original gem. Nothing has been modified. I rarely see these surface from anywhere, and rarely in this condition.
Given the history and age of this album, this copy is notable for it's condition. There is minimal age present on the cover, and even less evidence of use, it was obviously treasured and cared for. With hesitation, I am offering this item is up for bid, hoping that a a Zep fan will appreciate it as I have.
