Condition: Record is EXCELLENT, with a DJ date stamp on one side of the label. The letter is EXCELLENT, while the hype sheet is VG-.
Description
As 1969 was turning into 1970, famed bubblegum writer/producer Elliot Chiprut was plugging his newest creation, wherever he could. "Sweet Dottie Doodle" is what "Big Girls Don't Cry" would have sounded like had it been on the Buddah label. "Mr. Hitmaker Man" is Chiprut's plea for another hit the size of "Little Bit O'Soul" or "Simon Says". To that end, he wrote to legendary Florida music director Bill Vermillion, a real hitmaker man, asking for some airplay and citing the record's top ten ranking in Redding, California. Chiprut's hype sheet (also included) showed his great sense of humor. "Highly explosive bubblegum when exposed to teenyboppers," indeed!
