At the Turntable Worcester we are adding 50 lps a day to stock (including a healthy Elvis section), but want to offer the slightly unusual to yourselves as with this.
1969 Orange labels UK RCA RD 7723 Mono Elvis Presley IS Back!. The rarity comes from the fact that major record labels had all but phased out mono pressings at this far end of the decade, so a fairly small print run only ever existed. Hindsight also allows us to see that all those fake stereo versions of the older material sound awful by comparison. As you can see, no damage to the sleeve, and no marks to the playing surfaces, plays beautifully on a normal stereo cart.
