A master of marketing, the Colonel was always attentive to VIPs and recognized the importance of keeping them happy. To this end, he often created special promotional gifts so as to never miss an opportunity to promote the Elvis brand. Colonel Parker never had a shortage of ideas for advertising and merchandising, and offered is an example of this genius. The specially made attaché case was brilliantly designed to hold a treasured collection of Elvis albums and transport them safely and securely. The case was given to the celebrities and big spenders that attended the opening night show on July 31, 1969 in Las Vegas at the International Hotel. The case with its overlapping top, handle and metal lockable closures is emblazoned on the front with “Compliments International Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada and Elvis and the Col” in gold lettering. This rare and unusual giveaway would entice any fan to fill the case with Elvis LPs. The attaché case measures 13 1/4 by 14 by 6 inches (33.65 x 35.56 x 15.24 cm)
