  Here is a 1969, Original *First Pressing* of "TOMMY", the Popular Rock Opera by The WH0, Decca catalog # DXSW 7205.  According to Discogs, this is the 1st 1969 Pressing produced in their Gloversville, NY Plant, (which is represented by the ? symbol following the lower catalog # on LP sides 3 & 4). This entire LP Package, (Cover, Lyrics Insert, Sleeves & Vinyl LP's) is in VG+ or Better Condition.       "THIS IS NOT A RE-ISSUE LP"! 
  There is no cellophane on the unique Reverse Tri - Gatefold Cover but it is in VG+ condition with only minor corner wear and ring wear and just a few minor scuffs, the spines are completely intact but not pristine (See Photo's).   The enclosed 'Lyrics & Photo' Program has no damage at all and is still perfectly flat, EX to NM.  Both Plain Cream Paper Inner Sleeves are perfectly flat with no damage, EX to NM.   Both Vinyl LP's are very clean, have no actual "Scratches" but show a few very minor scuffs and/or age spots, VG+.   This Double LP set was designed for true sequential play on an 'Automatic Record Player' with LP 1 containing Sides 1 & 4, and LP 2 containing Sides 2 & 3. These LP's have been played from time to time but have been carefully stored for all these years !
 ? The Audio Test revealed some audible light crackle in the lead-in and lead out of the LP's with less noticeable, occasional crackle in the dead time between tracks. Once the music is playing the crackle is not noticeable except for in some very low volume areas. The music still has a nice crisp clean quality to it, but you may hear a very occasional tick or pop from time to time.  The Audio Testing was performed on a Technics SL-J33 Programmable Linear Tracking Turntable.     ***THIS ENTIRE LP PACKAGE IS STILL IN GREAT SHAPE FOR BEING 49 YEARS OLD***
  Here is the actual LP information & identifiers:  1969 Decca Records catalog # DXSW 7205.  ID #s printed on Label Side 1: DL 75126 (before 'Side 1') and DXSW 7205 7-11976 (under 'Side 1').  ID #s printed on Label Side 2: DL 75127 (before 'Side 2') and DXSW 7205 7-11977 (under 'Side 2').  ID #s printed on Label Side 3: DL 75127 (before 'Side 3') and DXSW 7205 7-11978? (under 'Side 3').  ID #s printed on Label Side 4: DL 75126 (before 'Side 4') and DXSW 7205 7-11979? (under 'Side 4').  Matrix Run-out Side 1: (stamped) S1-7 11976 1 7.  Matrix Run-out Side 2: (stamped) S2-7 11977 10 3.  Matrix Run-out Side 3: (stamped) S3-7 11978 10 1. Matrix Run-out Side 4: (stamped) S4-7 11979 5 2.

*Please Read This Information About My LP Collection*:  All Records (LP's) that I sell are from my own personal collection so I know their full history. Over 95% of the LP's I purchased were opened and immediately recorded to cassette tape, then the LP was safely and securely stored to preserve it's quality. On rare occasions, a tape would fail so I would need to play an LP again to re-record it. That is 'usually' the only time an LP would be played more than once. Even in the Very Good / Very Good+ to Excellent Condition that describes most of my LP's, there are exceptions.  They have been stored a long time and have made several cross country moves with me so there may me some minor flaws (or worse). I try to be as accurate as possible to describe them including the Cover, Inner Sleeve & Vinyl LP, and grade them according to 'GoldMine' Standards. I also include Any & All Matrix / Run-Out Stamp or Etching Information, (Numbers, Letters & Symbols, etc) in order to better identify their Exact Origin (US or Foreign), Pressing Dates and Locations, Original, 1st Pressing or Re-Issue's or any other special notations of importance. Finally, since my LP's have "Been Around" the country, moving with me, I've added one more service. Just from the Vinyl LP sliding around in it's sleeve or jacket, paper dust can accumulate in the grooves and affect playback quality, therefore, I gently but thoroughly clean each LP I sell in a Customized Spin Clean system using a residue free anti-static solution, allow them to completely air dry (no towel drying), then place the LP in a New, Clear, Synthetic, Anti-Static Protective Sleeve. Any original sleeves, (photo, printed or just plain) will still be included inside the cover to keep the LP package complete. I also 'Spot Audio Test' each LP for surface noise, especially between tracks where it's most noticeable. If there are small surface scuffs or scratches I will play completely through them and describe any effects they have on the audio quality. This may all seem like a lot of work but I want my buyers to be fully informed and feel confident they are getting a high quality item for their money.
