for auction is a 4" pocket disc single of Hey Jude/ Revolution,  no sleeve In 1968, Americom Corporation of New York introduced a new music format for singles called the pocket disc.
Pocket discs were sold at counter displays for 49 cent and in vending machines for 50 cent.  This is the first of three Beatles singles issued in this format.

  I have played both sides of this disc and while noisy, it did not skip. This disc is rare in that few were produced, and even fewer survived to this day, the flexi format being fragile and easily susceptible to damage. Although tempted, I've made no attempt to clean this disc do to the format's fragility, one "c" bend in it and you're done.
