In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. 100% very first printing 1968 original vinyl pressing, in thick gatefold cover, on the highly collected RAINBOW Capitol Records label of the sixties...
The Stack-O-Tracks album was release by The Beach Boys containing the actual backing tracks to fifteen of their songs spanning their career to that point. Considered little more than a penny pincher when it came out, Stack-O-Tracks turned out to be a very educational album for those wanted to know what went into the making of a Beach Boys music track. This type of release was unique for any band of the period, and generally was and still is relatively unique throughout the music industry where backing tracks, in the rare event of their commercial release, are generally bonus tracks or b-sides to singles.
The Beach Boys third and final album release of 1968, coming after Friends. Stack-O-Tracks was seen by many at the time as a desperate last-ditch effort by Capitol Records to try anything to sell Beach Boys records. The strategy backfired, when the record buying public, in 1968, just didn't get it. Nonetheless, featuring actual Beach Boys backing tracks from their past studio albums, and includes a large 15 page booklet with the bass lines, lead lines, chords and lyrics (to sing along with), Stack-O-Tracks was clearly a gift to those who wanted to hear what was going on beneath the lush harmonies.... Stack-O-Tracks quickly disappeared and was out of print

CONDITION: The Cover: thick gatefold cover is VG++ to "EX" (excellent) pretty nice looking actually, solid and colorful ...NO split seams, no bends and no writing ... all said it's a collectible 46 year old artifact that needs no upgrade...small delete drill at bottom right is all, and minor at that!
The Vinyl: is all glossy on both sides, "EX" (excellent) vastly clean, maybe just small minor scuff - a hard to see visual top surface scuff line is all, the deep groove pressing easily will play with excellent audio = let's put it this way = nobody interested in the album would not put it down. Both rainbow labels are clean.
