Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. Thee Original 1968 vinyl ...a "seminal" album just on the basis of two tracks ~ "Black Magic Woman" and "Albatross".
"Black Magic Woman" obviously inspired Carlos Santana, who not only covered it, but followed the original guitar arrangement almost note for note, which shows the kind of respect Green had from some higher profile musicians. And then there's the sublime "Albatross"... at least one of the Beatles has stated that "Sun King" was inspired by Green's memorable instrumental (listen to the two songs back-to-back sometime). The rest of the album is dominated by Green's authentic blues tone and great slide playing.
Released in 1969, "English Rose" was Fleetwood Mac's second US release which features the highlights from their second UK release, "Mr. Wonderful", the 1969 UK compilation "Pious Bird Of Good Omen" along with several Danny Kirwan contributions otherwise unavailable on LP. Unfortunately this album is rather hard to find nowadays since it provides a much more natural transition between the blues-wailing nature of their 1968 debut album and the 1970 "progressive blues" stylings of "Then Play On." "English Rose" features a variety contributions from Peter Green, Danny Kirwan and Jeremy Spencer instead of "Mr. Wonderful" which seemed to concentrate only on Spencer's ability to emulate the stylings Elmore James. "English Rose" also subsitutes the Eddie Boyd tracks from "Pious," with newer Kirwan penned tracks which flow a lot better with the rest of the material on the album and as a result is recommended over both "Mr. Wonderful" or "Pious Bird Of Good Omen.

CONDITION: The cover: Solid all over; VG+ bright original colors but there is shelf wear on front cover only in black frame (not much showing in photo - but is there) and otherwise is clean...the group photo back cover is TOP CLEAN M- and there are: no bends and no split seams, no writing ...
The vinyl:both sides are glossy and vastly clean with only some minor little scuffs that do not cause audio problem = expect to play enjoyable...the labels are clean...the 43+ year old item is a top UK blooze-boom collectible...
