1968 1st Pressing The Champ by The Mohawks
Collectors, Excellent example, Original UK 1st Pressing PMLP 5
This album & cover are in excellent condition. Although the starting price may seem high, it saves me putting a reserve price on it. This is the real thing and been in my collection for the past 5 years. Please feel free to add me to your favourites list. It will be a struggle for me to part with bit’s of my collection, It’s got to be done I’ve just got to much that never sees the light of day let alone played.
Cover; 1 small light crease top left. A couple of small creases bottom right corner. You have to tilt the cover under a strong light to see the creases. No sticker marks at all, no writing. PMLP 5 on both front and back of cover. The back of the cover is a little bit grubby. The spine is perfect. The cover has had very little handling and in excellent condition.

Record: an excellent example of this highly collectable Album.
Side 1: matrix PMLP + 5 + A
Condition – Very near mint. Cannot see anything wrong. Plays beautifully.
Side 2: matrix PMLP + 5 + B
Condition – Very Good to excellent. There is a very fine hair line scratch track 1 & just into track 2. You can just hear it in the space between tracks 1 & 2. a few little cracks That’s it. I picked it up 2nd time listening to the album through headphones. Otherwise side 2 is brilliant.
There is 1 spindle mark. If you tilt the album under a strong light you can see the mark it’s a different shade of purple. That’s it, I’ve tried and possibly succeeded in pulling this album to pieces.

Inner sleeve; is spoilt by a few old blood marks on one side. Not mine, maybe someone fighting to get his/her album back. I could have changed the inner sleeve but I would rather sell it as it is and that’s the condition it came into my collection in.
