We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +21,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. - The F L I P P E R S deliver amazing psychedelic rock versions of the Beatles, Blues Magoos, Detroit Wheels, The Lords, West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band, equally or better versions including their own brilliant self composed tunes.
The origin of The F L I P P E R S goes back to 1964 when Arturo Astudillo (guitar) and Carlos Martínez (bass) started The Thunderbirds. One year later, with Miguel Durier (guitar and vocals) and Guillermo Acevedo (drums) on board, they changed their name to THE F L I P P E R S, after the American TV series featuring the famous dolphin Flipper. After paying their dues on stage playing covers of British beat bands, in 1966 they released their first album, “Discothèque”, featuring ripping tracks in both English and Spanish (The Yardbirds, etc) and also trademark surf-garage rock GEMS full of reverb and fuzz such as ‘Impromptu Jazz A Go-Go’ and ‘Master Flipper’. - THIS, Their second LP PSYCODELICIAS came out the following year, (1967) again on the Zeida label. It is sleeved in a way-cool psychedelic designed custom cover and contained twelve tracks: among them The Beatles’ ‘With A Little Help Of My Friends’ and ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’, Detroit Wheels ~ ‘Sock It To Me, Baby’, The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band’s ‘Shifting Sands’, Blues Magoos’ ‘We Ain’t Got Nothing Yet’ and a terrific version of The Lords’ ‘Don’t Mince Matter’.
- THE F L I P P E R S own songs were ‘La Carta’ (a fuzzed-up guitar groove with a Cuban flair), ‘Con su soledad’ (another heartfelt melody) and what could be considered their flagship song, ‘Flipprotesta’, a wild and screaming punk beat number close to the revolutionary movement to which their compatriots Los Yetis belonged.
- THE F L I P P E R S are, along with The Speakers and Los Yetis, one of the outstanding bands of the Colombian garage beat scene, and “PSYCODELICIAS” is a classic album performed with raw and direct energy, enhanced by a simple production, which shows a broad survey of the hits and genres ( mixing surf, garage, and psychedelia) popular at the time in Colombia and around the world, still

- The cover: rated: VG++ minor visual,looks very strong... this 1967 original shows light previous handling, still very collection worthy, minor signs of use, nothing much, tiny micro name on back cover IF seen...there are bright far-out original colors= overall given the extreme rarity, a genuine keeper !
- The vinyl: Rated: VG++ very minor signs of previous use, a few signs, nothing at all extreme and plays GREAT! Both LDZ 20351 Colombia Zeida MONO labels are clean
