First Matrix......XEX , 637 , 1 ........XEX 638 ,1 ..........................................Stampers .Side One ( 1 ...AG ).........Side Two ( 3...RL )...........................................This 1967 UK First Press MONO Sgt Pepper Album is One of a Ltd Number of Early Copy.s That Were issued With a Thick WIDE SPINE Garrod & Lofthouse Gatefold Sleeve , The Ltd Number of These Rare Wide Spine Copy.s That Come on The Market are Usualy in a Sorry State , They Usualy Suffer Badly From Cracks and Compression Due to Bad Storage Stacking , This Copy Has Escaped That Fate , its Wide Spine Stands 100% Upright and is in Perfect Mint Condition , The Thick Gloss Lamenation on Both Back and Front Panels are Also in The Most Wonderful Clean Condition , The Album Has Obviously Been Stored and Handled With Tender Loving Care Over The Last 39 Years....................................... ....................................
