We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

Original 1966 first pressing of a great sunnysound California garage band... a cool teen beach-party garage band, if you will...
Surprisingly this is not a Curt Boettcher production, this echoes a more garagey California teen sound at times, but also follows The Millenium, and at times The Free Design. Some of it does sound like what the Beach Boys would have had if they kept a bit more of the surf sound in their later music. Their are plenty of choice catchy tracks, and the band stays on the path of the sunshine garage teen sounds of the sixties. The album is strong enough to warrent collectors all over the universe to srcamble for an original copy... They're hard to come by, The label "Canturbury" was small and not widely distributed....
The Yellow Balloon was Don Grady's ('Robbie' on TV's "My Three Sons") rock & roll group, but even more important, the brainchild of California producer Gary Zekley. Not unlike a Gary Usher, Zekley could grab a bunch of musicians and -- filling in the needed holes with his own talent -- produce sessions that rivaled Phil Spector or Brian Wilson for big sound and teen spirit. Grady had already been recording for the same label with his own group, the Windupwatch Band, when Zekley started climbing the charts with "Yellow Balloon," creating a need for a new group to go with the hit. Grady became the drummer and other members were recruited from various garage bands.

CONDITION: The cover issolid on front & back & seams, "EX" (excellent) having only a very small delete indentation (not drill) at top left...the colors are bright, very little previous wear at all makes this a 45 year old collection item with no need to upgrade.
The vinyl is all clean and clear M- play graded flawless and with clean labels makes this winning condition...
