1966 THE BEATLES RARE 3RD STATE BUTCHER BLOCK ALBUM & RECORD YESTERDAY AND TODAY

This item is one of a fantastic collection of vintage Beatles related memorabilia from my personal collection of over 40 years that I will be posting to Ebay in the coming weeks! CONDITION NOTES:  This is the rare ORIGINAL 3rd state stereo version (no. ST 2553) of the famous Beatles "protest" album who's initial cover featured the band dressed as butchers with dismembered dolls and meat strewn about.  The band was protesting Capital Records habit of "butchering" a song from each previous release in order to then release this album and make more money.  After the initial public outcry regarding the cover, Capital recalled the albums and pasted the "Trunk" cover over the initial cover.  This album is a "peeled" 3rd state cover.  As you can see, whoever did the peeling was very careful and left much of the cover still nicely in place.  I would say that you could even remove more of the glue residue if you know how to do that.  Even so, it displays well as it is now.  The album is slightly warped but nothing too bad.  Aside from a split along 2/3 of the bottom, the edges are very nice.  The back has someone's name in ink, as you can see.  The record is marked "T- 2553" so I guess that makes it a mono version.  It has some surface wear so I would expect some noise but I found no deep marks indicative of a record that would skip.  PLEASE REVIEW THE PICTURES BELOW TO JUDGE THE CONDITION FOR YOURSELF.

Please note that the camera picks up lint and dust resting on the toys and accessories that may appear as flaws. Please examine each picture carefully for actual flaws keeping in mind that most of these toys look far better in person than they do in the pictures. I will note in the CONDITION NOTES any details or flaws that are not readily apparent in the pictures but please keep in mind that I sometimes miss a small problem.
