We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. POWERHOUSE MONO ...the standard of '60s stanardness...well suited for the primitive bold sounds of the sixties!
Original 1966 DUTCH pressing and gotten quite scarce. Contains the old style "flap-back" seams, and laminated front cover. The LP contents are different track listings from the British release.
Obscene ("Ride Your Pony"), overtly sexual ("Evil"), explosive ("Louie Louie"), with the singer's snarl among the most cynical of the era (" I Just Sing"), the Troggs' barbaric excursions ("From Home") were the definition of rock 'n' roll in a time when popular music was still held within tight boundaries. Combine the most powerful tracks of 'From Nowhere' with the ones from 'Wild Thing' and you have an album that's easily worth whatever it takes to grab it.The Troggs were one of the great singles artists of the 1960s with a string of classics that started with Wild Thing. They never really achieved the same level of success with their albums. This debut From Nowhere was their most successful long player reaching number 6 in the UK and remaining on the chart for sixteen weeks. It contains some of the early singles and b-sides as well as additional tracks. However, this CD has a different running order to the original UK release and is more similar to the German release. However, the Kitty Cat Song, Ride You Pony and Evil were all found on the UK and not the German releases.
With A Girl Like You starts the proceedings and a riveting smash isn't a bad way to start. The infectious nugget crawled all the way up the national charts and the Troggs had yet another like minded trophy to place along side of "Wild Thing"
Elsewhere you'll find the driving drums and bass of I Just Sing make it one of the album's best tracks. It stands out from the known singles and shows the Troggs could stand outside the pop market and produce more unusual or innovative tracks. The Jaguar and the Thunderbird is sung by drummer Ronnie Bond. Guitarist Chris Britton delivers the vocals on the standard Ride Your Pony.
Your Love is reminiscent of the Kinks' All Day and All of the Night. Its chopping guitar chords pushing the song forwards.
A cover of the Kingmen's Louie Louie is perfectly suited to the Troggs' style. Ironically, the riff from Louie Louie translated well into Wild Thing!

CONDITION: The cover: Rated: VG+(+) Very delicate Dutch 1966 pressing is no doubt striking in design with group decked out in their finest matching fashions, grouped together in a cave. The very thin material manufactured has held original color, but not a surprise in understanding how many copies were damaged, ripped and torn over the years, This copy is all together, there is a little damage mar at mid-way pocket opening, but something you can feel and not so much see. Otherwise has a very respectable appearance with no problems. The back cover is white, or cream color and retains the better part showing clean graphics, not soiled or grubby as expected after 53 years! The flap-back seams and all other areas are in great shape!!! There are no seam splits, no faded colors, no bends, no writing and no delete marks
The vinyl: Rated: VG+(+) few minor small hairlines, few nothing light scuffs, used careful enough and grateful the disc wasn't abused or mishandled. Both MONO Fontana labels are also clean, no writing, dirt or soil ... the DEEP GROOVE pressig plays with EXCELLENT audio- delightful!
