Description
Excellent, guaranteed original, 1966 Rock LP by THE BEATLES entitled "Yesterday & Today" on Capitol Records (#T2553, MONO). Excellent vocal tunes by FAB FOUR! I've had many "Butcher" covers over the years - I honestly don't know if this is a "First State" or not - if it is a "Third State," it's the best peel job I've ever seen! There is no glue residue on the front cover, it still has some of it's original sheen to it (it does have the textured paper) and other than a very small scratch just below Paul McCartneys fingers, there are no paper tears at all. The number in the lower right hand corner of the back cover is #3. This auction is for the cover only - no record. The front cover is in beautiful condition (solid VG++). but, the seams are completely split at the bottom and left hand spine. The top seam is holding together fine. This would be an excellent candidate to be framed and hanging on your wall! Winning bidder to add $2.50 postage in the USA.
