Description
Here is a vintage album from my collection offered up for sale: Aretha Franklin's 1964 album "Runnin Out Of Fools", this is an original 1st pressing release by Columbia Records CL 2281 (Mono), with beautiful portrait cover still in original factory shrink wrap with printed inner sleeve. This album features vocal master Aretha and song "You'll Lose A Good Thing (when you lose me)", RIP Aretha. Album has great representation of her work ~ duet "Mockingbird", plus "Walk On By", "The Shoop Shoop Song" (In His Kiss), Smokey Robinson's "My Guy", GREAT album!
The heavy record grades VG/VG+, is super clean and glossy, has some light marks, nothing heavy or that you can feel, has been well cared for! PLAY TESTED, plays very good from start to finish, bright clear sound with some errant pops, no skips or jumps, overall minimal surface noise and a VERY enjoyable listen!
The cover rates strong EX, is super clean and bright, shrink is completely intact on all three sides, seams excellent and binder readable, no splits, no tape, bottom opening has small corner bend, back has light age discoloration near opening, no signatures or writing, looks minimally handled, has been very well cared for! The inner sleeve is clean and bright, no splits. (see all photos)
Will be shipped in a .3 ml plastic sleeve in a record box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in a "throw away" paper sleeve outside the cover to prevent splits.
