1964 PROMO 45 YARDBIRDS I WISH YOU COULD EPIC W/SLEEVE
Excellent, guaranteed original, 1964 PROMO Rock/Garage 45 by THE YARDBIRDS entitled "I wish you could"/"A Certain Girl" on Epic Records (#5-9709, White Label Promo!).

Great set of upbeat vocal tunes with scorching guitar! Includes the original picture sleeve as well. Promotional-issue only - made for Esquire Socks with Denim Tones. Current book value is $800+.

"I Wish You Would" is a song by written by the American songwriter Billy Boy Arnold, performed by English blues rock band The Yardbirds, and released as their debut single.

This release also marked the first of several "bloopers" made by The Yardbirds' U.S. label, Epic. First U.S. pressings of the single and the extremely rare U.S. picture sleeve showed the song as "I Wish You Could". One side of the picture sleeve showed the group, the other side an unrelated advertisement.

Condition: Sleeve has light wear and some overall yellowing from age, a couple of tears and a small piece missing on the backside.
