The Beatles vs The Four Seasons
The International Battle of the Century
This 2LP set is one of the rarest Beatles LP's in existence. Due to a legal battle with Capitol Records in 1963 Vee Jay lost the rights to The Beatles songs in 1964. To capitalize on The Beatles before losing the rights, Vee Jay quickly repackaged "Introducing the Beatles" records into two new record covers; Songs, Pictures and Stories, and The Beatles Vs. The Four Seasons 2LP set. This gave them the ability to get rid of the overstock records they had but packaged as a new item for consumers.
The Beatles Vs. the Four Seasons is a 2LP set consisting of a Copy of Introducing the Beatles VJLP 1062 as well as the Golden Hits of the Four Seasons VJLP 1065. The back cover has a scorecard on which fans could rate which group was better.
The album cover is good condition with a single split on the top of one side of the double fold and a small amount of fraying on spine.
The vinyl is in VG condition. The record labels have a one inch taped name on them and also written in light pen, otherwise labels and vinyl in good shape.
Check my feedback all items are as described.
