1963 bound ten Billboard Magazines Dylan, Beach Boys, James Brown
Near mint bound set of ten Billboard Magazines, April 6, 1963 to June 29, 1963. Issued range from 63 to 100 pages each, so there is lotsa good stuff here. Billboard charts for LPs, R&B, folk, country, first appearance articles about new artists Bod Dylan, Barbara Streisand, Dick Dale, the Beach Boys (including interview with Murray Wilson). There is a lot of press about the new surf music phenomenon, which was just starting during the priod of these issues. The professional binding is high quality and in near mint condition. The magazines themselves have no cut-outs, torn pages, missing pages, loose pages. No water stains, odors, tobacco damage, tidemarks, writing. The paper is not brittle. I looked at every page, and these are as nice as they come.
