Description

This is our first sale from a top of the market collection, comprising of just early stereo rarities on Decca HMV, UK Columbia & RCA. First labels issues in Near Mint condition to 99% of them, all described in detail with plenty of pictures. Includes many items rarely seen on ebay.

  1963 1st white gold labels pressing of Uk HMV ASD 512 Prokofiev: Visions Fugitives and Tippett: Concerto for Double String Orchestra performed by the Moscow Chamber Orch, then the Tippet with the Bath Festival Chamber Orch, conducted by Rudolf Barshai.

One of a very small selection of mid 20th century recordings on HMV issued this early, and very fine readings given in both instances of these substantial, attractive works.

 Flipback sleeve and the original company inner present. This is Near Mint with no marks to the playing surfaces, clean labels (shown in pic) and the sleeve is Near Mint.
