Description
This auction is for Bob Dylan's rare first LP, titled 'Bob Dylan.' This copy has the red 'eyes' label, so it is a very early copy. I believe the first label on this one was the black and red '6 eyes' label, but not many were pressed on that label. Columbia switched from the red and black to the all red label in mid 1962. I know I have seen this LP on the red and black label, but they are really rare. This LP with this label is rare, especially in near mint condition. The cover is dated copyright 1962 in lower left (see photo). The cover has no ring wear, not even on the white back. The corners are almost sharp. The vinyl is near mint visually with a couple fine scuff lines you can only see under very bright light. These probably came from rubbing the edge of the cover. The vinyl is clean and very glossy. Nice thick early sixties blank. Plays really well with minimal background noise. This is a super copy.
