Description

Here is a RARE vintage album from my collection offered up for sale:  Sam Phillips and his Memphis based Sun Record Co. in 1961 released this compilation album "Sun's Gold Hits Vol 1" LP-1250 (MONO), this is a first pressing with the heavy 1950's style "Microgroove" vinyl. Music features all the great songs from Sun's legendary artists, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Bill Justis, a GREAT album!
Song titles "Whole lotta shakin' going on", Johnny Cash classic "I walk the line", Carl Perkins' Blue suede shoes, Bill Justis plays "Raunchy", The killer with "Breathless", Charlie Rich with Lonely weekend, Jerry Lee sings Hank William's "You win again" and MORE! 
The vinyl rates EX, is clean and looks minimally played, only flaw is a few areas of loss to the gloss, nothing heavy. Play tested and plays from start to finish with excellent audio, clear bright sound, some light surface noise can be heard mainly between tracks, no skips or jumps, an enjoyable listen! 
The cover rates EX, is clean and bright with gloss, almost no age discoloration, no ring wear, edges excellent, no splits, no tape, has one small corner bump, back has two small spot stains near opening, no signatures or writing, looks minimally handled, a well cared for 56 year old cover! 
Will be shipped in plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with tracking. Vinyl will shipped in the sleeve outside the cover to prevent splits.
