Description
This 12” diameter, 33 1/3 rpm, vinyl record, from the Office of Civil Defense Mobilization’s “Stars For Defense” weekly series contains program numbers 191/192 ©1960. On one side, Eartha Kitt sings “Independent”, “Old-Fashioned Girl” and “C’est Si Bon”. On the flip, Something Smith and The Redheads perform “You Always Hurt the One You Love”, “A Hundred Years From the Day” and “It’s A Sin To Tell A Lie”. Both acts are backed up by Ray Bloch and his Orchestra. The record’s playing surfaces look VG and play okay but there is background noise throughout. I suspect a thorough cleaning may help.
