Description

  1960 First year pressing of Uk Decca SXL 2155. One of the top violin SXL's. Ruggiero Ricci with Ansermet & the OSR in the Lalo: Symphonie Espagnole & the Ravel Tzigane, both for Violin & Orchestra. One of the most musically outstanding early decca stereos for the breathtaking virtuosity and sweet fat tone of Ricci.

FFSS arm advert flipback sleeve . Labels are ED1 with original recording by.. at ten o clock, with the wide silver band and ffss circle at 12 O' clock. The pristine original company ffss inner is present. This is near mint with no marks to the playing surfaces, has clean labels with a few spindle marks, and the sleeve is Excellent. Flips are unmarked, no pen or excess dirt, no splits or bends, rubbed corners and a bit of laminate off the back flip.
