Description
This is the start of a list currently being sorted and graded to go from Sunday to Sunday. It is from a single collection of a president of a Chamber Music Society, lots of it from the earliest days of the LP. Condition is overall very impressive throughout, probably due to the depth and breadth of the collection.
1st anywhere issue 1960 German Archiv SAPM 198186 Pierre Fournier in the Bach Unaccompanied Cello Suites 1 & 2. Red box Stereo against cream stitched gatefold sleeve. Completely unmarked playing surfaces, clean labels, little closed tear to the sleeve at spine shown in pics - it is a faultless record.
Pristine Near Mint record & Excellent Sleeve.
This is one of some very exciting classical rarities in my list this week, strong on Cello, Cello, Cello! & some Violin, early stereo, TAS Listed Audiophile and a great chamber music selection. They are all well worth a look and a bid, same low start no reserve on everything regardless of value.
