1960 CLASSICAL LP Nathan Milstein Pommers Encores Capitol SCRANTON MONO 8536 VG+
1960 CLASSICAL MUSIC Nathan Milstein Leon Pommers – Milstein Encores Capitol SCRANTON MONO P-8536 If this LP is sold outside the lower 48 states of the USA, this is a one way trip with no partial refunds or returns... A few years ago, we were blessed to acquire a world class classical & southern gospel record collection which we have been dispersing on eBay. This LP record set came from a man who worked for over 20 years in the East Carolina University (ECU) Music Library in Greenville, NC. His interest was mostly Classical & Opera, both LPs & also 78s. But some Jazz, Blues & quite a bit of southern gospel related stuff came in from this collection also. This lifelong collection of records was assembled by a discriminating, condition only, audiophile collector. In this auction, you will receive: CLASSICAL MUSIC Nathan Milstein Leon Pommers – "Milstein Encores" 1960 Capitol SCRANTON MONO P-8536 Run Out bears a matrix number I could not locate on discogs side #1 "P1 - 3586 - D1X" Scranton Anvil mark.. side #2 "P2 - 3586 - D1X" Scranton Anvil mark.. Has been Freshly Utrasonic Cleaned with TergiKleen!! Please read about what this (above) cleaning method does for a record's sound separation, sonic depth, crispness, clarity & overall sound stage presence.. makes it sound about brand new!! Both LP sides have been 100% PLAY TESTED (twice now) with our Technics SL 3200 turntable for solid VG++/VG++!!! PLAY TESTED (TWICE NOW at high volume, each really sounds great with occasional light ticks heard at the high volume settings only.. but mostly just quiet, (even the dead wax) with hardly any background noise at all! The quiet wax especially adds to the enjoyment of this album with it's dramatic parts but also it's periods of quiet contemplative passages! I did not think I really liked classical music but I just kept playing and playing this one!! That piano & violin really groove together beautifully!! Wowzer!! If you want to hear this LP, I'll send you my Facebook link and you can hear numerous sound clips I have posted of it!! Just a really great sounding LP that I do not think was played much at all..!!! This album really appears to have never been played at all, examining both the vinyl & the spindle holes...vinyls show no scratches or marks to speak of (both sides)..spindles appear perfect also.. The condition of the generally well preserved cover is clearly shown........ no seam splits but has been taped in spots with color identifying tape... The worst flaws are all well shown!! A true rarity in this superb condition!! Please also see the other exceedingly well conditioned 33 RPM LP sides that we are also listing on eBay at this time. Buy a group and save on shipping! And please email if you have any additional questions. All records are securely triple flat board shipped with the vinyl removed from the jacket, so they arrive to you in excellent shape. Buyer to prepay $6 s/h plus $1 more for each additional record that you buy. And please do also see the other exceedingly well preserved CLASSICAL MUSIC rarities on reel-to-reel tape and vinyl that we are also listing on eBay at this time!!
