1959 First year pressing of Uk Silver Spot & deep Grooves Decca Press RCA SB 2005: Monteux & the PCO in the Stravinsky Rite of Spring. Was this not the conductor at the works premiere, much lauded by the composer?. The sleee confirms thus, and furthermore that Diaghilev & Monteux were the first people to hear the score played at the piano by Stravinsky himself, ahead of the Ballet, in 1911!. sleeve has the earliest type red True Stereophonic.. lettering, and the original company pink lettered inner is present. This is near mint with no marks to the vinyl, has clean labels and the sleeve is Excellent. Best 1K1K Tony Hawkins mastered stampers.
