Cover appears to be and should also be NM to MINT CONDITION as well, with little to no condition problems seen visually through the sealed wrap plastic to my eyes.

This item(s) for sale is from the personal collection of and obtained directly first hand from the estate of the world famous KMOX St Louis Radio Announcer / Talk Show Host and DJ, Mr. John McCormick. (1914-1989) Also, some of these items in some of the listings were also once owned by John's sister-in-law Ms. EVELYN KNIGHT, the 1940's and 50's Female Pin-up Pop Singer directed by Sy Oliver and his orchestra. Evelyn also sang with many heavy hitters back in the day such as names like Jimmy Durante, Gordon Macrae and even Bing Crosby to name a few.

Mr. McCormick was a legendary-well known USA early radio announcer/DJ. He retired from radio in St Louis, MO at AM 1120 KMOX/CBS Radio Broadcasting in December of 1989. He first came to KMOX in 1958, after working in radio in Chicago and Los Angeles. In Chicago, he had one of the most popular late-night shows in the country, broadcasting from WBBM radio. It was there in Chicago, ILL that this classic and legend Radio announcer John McCormick is actually credited as being the FIRST RADIO ANNOUNCER IN AMERICA TO ACTUALLY PLAY RECORDS ON HIS RADIO TALK SHOW PROGRAM! This is way back in the day before music DJ's were even hired to do so. It's very safe to say that he definitely started an awesome trend then!!! The concept obviously still continues to this day! *****

Many rare gems and lots and lots of promos that were actually used on air and straight from the library of KMOX radio. There are also records John and his wife Joan inherited from the estate of 40's and 50's female pinup pop singer Evelyn Knight (Turns out that Evelyn is John's sister in law). So John's longtime wife June was Evelyn Knights direct blood relative sister and also June was the official assistant, driver and hair dresser to the 1940's/50's pinup female pop singer star Evelyn Knight as well. So when Evelyn passed away her sister June and husband John McCormick received lots of old rare records including recordings from Evelyn's estate with even personal copies of her own old records. These included lots of Evelyns old Decca Label 78's, both promo and regular labeled, plus some cool rare test pressing acetate recordings of some of her performances on live radio. I will be listing lots of those records that also personally come from and were owned from June McCormick's sister relative Ms Evelyn Knight. So make sure to check back and look for those!
