Description
This is for an original 78 on Checker Records called Crackin Up with The Great Grandfather on the flip side done by the great rock and roll Hall of Famer Bo Diddley. Writing credits on both songs go to E. McDaniel (Elias McDaniel Bo’s real name). Bo’s chunking rectangle guitar sound coated in reverb comes through loud and clear and Crackin Up would reach number 14 on the R & B charts in 1959. I haven’t tested this in a while since I don’t have a record player anymore and my daughters record player only plays 45 and 33 RPM records. I showed some nice tilted shots so you can see how clean the record looks. A must have for any early rock and roll collection.
