Description
Here is a MEGA RARE vintage early rock album from my collection offered up for auction: "Buddy Holly" his Coral solo debut album released during Buddy's brief but stellar lifetime. Released 1958 on Coral records CRL 57210, this was Buddy's first album with Coral Records and also features "The Crickets" on every track. This is the FIRST PRESS PROMOTIONAL DJ RADIO STATION PRESSING featuring the heavy rigid disc and the blue SAMPLE COPY promotional labels. A HOLY GRAIL of the record collecting world! The vinyl rates respectable VG, clean and glossy,a few light marks, nothing real heavy, there are two brief jumps in "Rave on"otherwise plays great with very good audio clarity! The 2 jumps are quick and painless. That noted, it is still A very enjoyable listening record! No hiss or heavy surface noise at all. If it were not for the "Rave on" flaw noted it would grade much higher! The promo labels are in great shape, clean, no signatures.A bit of lebel wear noted on one side. The jacket rates VG, still has deep color, nice portrait of Buddy on front, does have some discoloration on botom edge, the upper & lower seam have been neatly repaired. (see Photo) Includes a vintage printed inner sleeve in very good condition. There is NO RESERVE PRICE! You can bid as an AUCTION (it could go higher $ if others bid too) or you can own it now with my fair BUY IT NOW price. Will be shipped FREE in a protective plastic sleeve inside a secure record mailing box with tracking number. Check my seller list for more rare rock n roll gems! Thanks for looking!
