THIS IS A PRIMITIVE LIVE RECORDING FOR only 30 exclusive wealthy sponsors who loved jazz. This club was called TACK ROOM at the PIEDMONT DRIVING CLUB in ATLANTA. This is one concert they sponsored.

Dorothy Donegan (April 26, 1922 – May 19, 1998) was an American jazz pianist and vocalist, primarily known for performing in the stride piano and boogie-woogie style. She also played bebop,swing jazz, and classical music.
Robert Granitz, a vice president and director of creative services for Lanvin?Charles of the Ritz, Inc., died Friday of a heart attack. He was stricken while waiting for a train at the Long Island Railroad Hunter's Point station in Long Island City, Queens. He was 51 years old and lived at 155 East 76th Street. He also had a summer home in East Hampton, L. I.
A graduate of the Wharton School of Finance and Com merce University of Pennsyl vania, Mr. Granitz began his career as a reporter for Tide, an advertising trade publica tions. He also was a reporter for Advertising Age and Women's Wear Daily.
He joined Charles of the Ritz as a salesman in 1949. He served as vice president and general manager of both the Alexandra deMarkoff division and the Charles of the Ritz di vision before being named vice president and creative services director of the parent company earlibr this year.
Survivors include his widow, the former Mildred Doughty; a daughter, Elizabeth, two sons, Michael and W. Doughty, and his mother, Mrs. Doris Granitz.
