Description

This is a very nice LP release titled "1956 Country & Western Classics" by Economic Consultants Inc. This is a compilation LP that was available through a 1973 mail-in offer, and contains 7 songs by Elvis, 3 by Johnny Cash and songs by other artists. All songs are from original master tracks. The vinyl has it's original high gloss, just a few ultra light surface marks. The record has clean playback with nice sound and vocals, no detectable background noise during play. Labels look great, no surface wear at all. The cover is excellent, nice edges (no seam splits), a little corner wear, hardly any surface wear. LP has been in a protective plastic cover since purchase. Both vinyl and cover get a VG++ (Excellent) rating, close to NM. Tracks are: Side 1: 1) Heartbreak Hotel (Elvis), 2) I Walk The Line (Johnny Cash), 3) I Was The One (Elvis), 4) My Lips Are Sealed (Jim Reeves), 5) Blue Suede Shoes (Carl Perkins), 6) Don't Be Cruel (Elvis), 7) Crazy Arms (Ray Price), and 8) Love Me Tender (Elvis). Side 2: 1) Black Board Of My Heart (Hank Thompson), 2) Train Of Love (Johnny Cash), 3) Hound Dog (Elvis), 4) I Want You, I Need You, I Love You (Elvis), 5) There You Go (Johnny Cash), 6) Singing The Blues (Marty Robbins), 7) My Baby Left Me (Elvis), and  8) I've Got A New Heartache (Ray Price).  A nice LP for your Elvis or Jonny Cash collection!
