Description
SPECIAL NOTE: Over the next couple of weeks I will be posting core collection LPs from The Beatles, The Amboy Dukes, and The Animals - maybe a Led Zeppelin as well. Some are very nice and highly collectible - including STEREO & MONO editions, imports, German pressings, unreleased sets, and many other collectibles that are sure to catch your eyes. Check back to see if there is something that fits your interest. Thanks!
UPDATED SPECIAL NOTE:
9/28/64 to 3/13/18 - RIP Kim Gorman
- as of the recent passing of my wife, I will be putting many items up for sale and at great prices. I hope you find something you have been looking for.
Thanks in advance for viewing my auctions.
******************************
Up for grabs is a VHTF and RARE 3-lot of Monaural/Monographic recordings by the great Jazz singer, Carmen McRae - on the original Decca Records. These are the original silver print on black background labels.
All three LPs are the original vinyl pressings.

+ 1st Decca label album release
+ with Mat Matthews Quintet
- 1956 "Torchy!"
+ Burt Goldblatt photograph
- 1957 "Blue Moon"
+ with song strip at bottom of cover

Two of the three LPs have their original inner plastic sleeves and are medium to heavy-weighted pressed vinyl copies.
These original Monaural/Monographic LPs are considered in an average VG, VG+/VG and VG+ condition and are in great condition. These were all acquired by myself and have been part of my personal collection since I purchased them.

These 60+ year old LPs are considered to be in an average of VG/VG+ and VG+ (or better) condition and are suitable for any collection. Visual grading is subjective and may differ from someone else.
Good luck!
**************************
Due to the thickness of these LPs and their covers, there will be NO COMBINED SHIPPING with this auction.
Thank you for understanding.
**************************
Please read entire auction for any additional details concerning shipping and handling.
**************************
I will combine shipping if winning multiple lots or auctions. Please refer to non-album/LP auctions for combine shipping charges for those other auctions, because they will differ.
All LP grades assigned are subjective and may differ from another person's viewpoint. I am not a professional grader, but I have collected records and albums for over 35 years. When LPs or records are play tested, they are disc-brush cleaned and then played on a 1980s Pioneer direct-drive turntable using Stanton or AudioTechnica needles.
Combined Shipping costs for LP auctions:- Will be recalculated to include a new shipping charge. Additional costs will be applied after the shipping cost of the heaviest weighted auction that was won (i.e. a 2-LP record lot is heavier than a single LP lot.)- I will combine auction shipment costs for up to four (4) LPs (4 single LPs, 2 double LPs, or a combination of both types, not to exceed four LPs in the album mailer). I do this, so they will ship securely in a record mailer and without possible damage during shipment. An additional amount of $.50 per LP will be added after the initial charge. - I use a prefabricated 12" record mailer for all LP shipments and will only add insurance upon request.
NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING.
All sales are final and no returns will be accepted.
- I want to make you happy with your purchase and to ensure you are, please contact me first me with any issues that you may have, so I can try to resolve any - amicably and to your satisfaction. Communication is the key to success for us both.
- My feedback is 100% and shows that I consistently ship fast, securely, and as described.
- Positive feedback will be given, when positive feedback is received.
