Description
Up for auction is the very first 78 Elvis Presley ever released on the RCA Victor label.This is on RCA Victor label # 6357 and was released in December of 1955.Songs are titled Mystery Train on one side and has I Forgot To Remember To Forget on the other side.A 78 with the same exact songs was also released just 4 months before this one on the Sun label.Mystery Train side looks absolutely gorgeous with extremely light to light scratches along with 2 very small scratches I can feel lightly with fingernail.Has groove wear also but still looks gorgeous.The I Forgot To Remember To Forget side looks even more Beautiful with extremely light scratches only.This side hasgroove wear also but it is alot lighter than the other side.Really looks stunning.Both labels in absolutely Beautiful condition as you can see.I have played both sides of the record on an old 1970s record played with the treble and bass adjusted right in the middle.The Mystery Train side plays with some static but plays loud and very clear and crisp.When played with treble all the way down record plays with extremely light to light static.The I Forgot To Remember To Forget side plays with louder static than the Mystery Train side and but plays a bit quieter when treble is turned down all the way.While being played I also noticed the 78 has a small warp but it is so small it of course does not affect play at all.Really a beautiful 78 for being 52 years old.Also one of Elvis's harder to find RCA 78s as it is the first RCA 78 he made.I'll also be listing 3 more very nice Elvis 78s over the next week.I also combine multiple auctions to save on shipping.If the buyer is not 100% satisfied I have a return for refund policy on all 78s I sell.Buyer to pay $5.00 media rate shipping anywhere in the U.S.Please add $1.00 if insurance is desired.
