1954 Elvis Presley, Sun #210, GOOD ROCKIN' TONIGHT, Push Marks, U-131-45 Ray Brown Error Label
This 45 rpm record apears to be in great condition. I took all of the photos with a very bright light and couldn't see any obvious, major scratches. The record is push marked on both sides with U-131-45 as seen in the photos. This is a rare, genuine Memphis, first pressing that has the Ray Brown error label. I do not have a player and was unable to test the record. One little bonus, the record ships from Elvis Presley's hometown of Tupelo, MS.
Here is what I was able to find out about the error label. The factory error is on the "A" side and it is the fact that the writer credit of "Good Rockin' Tonight" is not "Ray Brown". The credit should read Roy Brown. Only the first pressings were mis-labeled this way. The error was soon corrected and Roy Brown is given proper credit on the next pressings.
