Label: Blue Note Records (BLP 5045), New York, 1954

 

Description: 10” Vinyl LP; blue and white labels with 767 Lexington Ave. address; RVG etched into dead wax; 6 tracks; mono. Players on this album: Frank Foster, Dave Burns, James Cleveland, Danny Bank, Oscar Pettiford and Kenny Clark.

 

Condition: A bit of wear to the label of Side One. Light rubbing, age-toning, and minor edge wear to record sleeve; overall the sleeve is solid and remains in Very Good to Very Good+ condition. The record has been play tested and retains a strong luster. The disk has slight streaking from the original plastic inner sleeve and extremely light surface wear. The vinyl plays through with almost no surface noise and remains in Excellent condition.
