Description
Here is a rare album set from my collection offered up for auction: A three 10" 78 rpm record set by Ruth Wallis and Deluxe Rhythmen "House Party" (album number two) featuring suggestive comedy songs! The music was written and performed by Ruth Wallis and was orchestrated by Jimmy Carroll working with the Ray Charles Singers and the Mac Ceppos Orchestra. Released in 1947 by De-Luxe Records - 29. ALL THREE records rate EX are clean and glossy, have a few very light marks, nothing heavy, have no effect on play! PLAY TESTED. All three double sided 78 rpm records play great with very good sound quality! Disc 1 is labeled 1089 "Johnny Had A Yo Yo" and "Your Daddy Was A Soldier". Disc 2 is labeled 1091 "An Oil Man From Texas" and "Too Many Men In My Life". Disc 3 is labeled 1183 "The Dinghy Song" and "Tonight You Sleep In The Bathtub". The Book type Jacket rates EX, the front cover has great bright color, is clean, no splits, no signatures, no tape, has only light wear on edges, the gold embossed binder edge is complete and readable. The back cover has a small signature in the upper left corner. The inside front cover has a vintage sticker on it from a San Francisco music store! It reads "Columbia Music Co. phone: Graystone 4-4121, 158 Taylor St. San Francisco" Cool! There is NO RESERVE PRICE!
